rene@deanda.orgCommon questions
Where are my letters stored?
The iPhone and iPad app keeps letters on your device. Optional iCloud Sync is off by default and uses your private iCloud database. The web composer keeps its current draft in your browser.
How do I share a letter?
In the app, open a letter and use the share button to send a card image, text, PDF, video, or sealed-envelope link. You can also print it or send a card from the included Messages app.
How do I back up or move my letters?
Open Settings and choose Back Up Letters. Grateful.ly creates one portable file containing your library and photos. Restore from Backup safely skips letters already in your library.
How do I restore Grateful.ly Plus?
Open Settings, choose Grateful.ly Plus, then Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, open Settings, Manage Data, and Delete All Data. This removes the local library and, when enabled and available, its private iCloud copy. On the web, clear Grateful.ly site data in your browser.
Privacy and legal
Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Grateful.ly has no account or social feed, and support never needs your letter content to investigate a general app issue.
