Agreement

These terms apply when you use the Grateful.ly website or native iPhone and iPad app. By using Grateful.ly, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Grateful.ly provides

Grateful.ly helps you write, design, save, and share gratitude letters. The web composer stores its current draft in your browser. The native app stores a private library on your device and can optionally sync it through your private iCloud database. Availability and features may change as we improve the product.

Your letters and responsibilities

You retain your rights to the letters, photos, signatures, and other content you create. You are responsible for that content, for having permission to use any image you add, and for deciding who receives an export or shared link.

You agree not to:

• Use Grateful.ly for unlawful, abusive, or harmful content
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the service
• Misrepresent your relationship with another person through the service

Shared links and third parties

A sealed-envelope link contains the letter in the URL itself. Anyone with that link can read the letter, so you are responsible for sharing it carefully. When you use an Apple, iCloud, Messages, printing, analytics, or share-sheet service, that provider's terms and privacy practices also apply.

Grateful.ly Plus

Grateful.ly Plus is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. Price and availability are shown before purchase. Refunds, purchase authorization, Family Sharing, and restoration are administered under Apple's App Store rules. The core ability to write, save, and share a letter is not paywalled.

Backups and data loss

Local data can be lost if you clear browser storage, delete the app without a backup, lose a device, or encounter a device or service failure. The native app offers file backup and optional iCloud sync, but you remain responsible for keeping any backup you need. We cannot recover letter content because we do not keep an application server copy.

Service and warranties

Grateful.ly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect exports, or compatibility with every device or third-party service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grateful.ly and its creator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service, including loss of data. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Intellectual property

Grateful.ly's software, design, branding, templates, and original artwork are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, or create derivative products from them.
